Locals woke up to a cool, wet morning, w/ dark gray clouds & continuing mists, finally clearing up & revealing a fresh, smoke-free sky. Hallelujah!
We can hope that forest fires have seen their last for the year, & the appearance of fresh snow on various mountains is reassuring in that regard. Quite the turnaround!
Air conditions are switched from cool to heat, as windows begin closing & gardens get put to bed. People citywide can expect to be blown out for the winter basically ASAP.
