Local sons joined their mother (& step-mother 🙏) for re-flooring the ol’ kitchen this fine Saturday, w/ most efficient & applaudable success! After, Game 7 of MLB’s World Series went extra-innings, w/ the Los Angeles Dodgers coming out the second-consecutive Champs. 👏
A choice vinyl was laid down atop the previous getup, which worked good, making effective use of a rubber mallet. Cuts were made w/ chop-saw & hand-saw, plus various other knives & blades, scissors… Scoring & breaking was advertised & confirmed solid, although the score needs to be deep, else the break is a fracture rather than clean. ☝️
A drizzle, accompanied by a spectacular morning cloud-break were a refreshing, window-open environment for chatty, collaborative, team-working adults making a house look great.
Furniture was moved carefully to avoid streaking, denting, & any other ruinage. Results positive!
Once complete, dinner was had, cats played, & the World Series went past inning 9, prompting team-break for the evening as last visitor (me) left, catching the finale at home.
