A stratus-strewn, gray yet warmer morning greeted us, as locals could be found dining at restaurants, perusing tables & recliners at Sav-Mart, changing batteries in smoke detectors, enjoying espresso & drip coffee, & going to work, as football played throughout, w/ fantasy scores updating for passive competition.
Cats could be seen eating grass, marking territory (or whatever), playing hard-to-catch, & crescendoing w/ a razzling tree-climb, before succumbing to treats & indoor containment.
Bachelors could be found in their apartments listening to music, updating websites, playing Minecraft, reading books, & snacking, w/ muted sports like darts & axe-throwing giving alternative vantage.
