Local homeowner & 2 visiting sons tackled a key kitchen remodel to-do: tiling the wall behind the sink & counter, satisfying a long-time want, albeit in progress…
Dutiful author (stepson) spent most of the time spectating, sitting on the couch while feeling physically awful for some reason, eventually heading home for pre-work napping. The project has apparently stalled as an on-the-fly call resulted in needing more tiles, which are apparently discontinued, so one has to wish well, pray a bit, & wait for the solution to manifest, as the negativity takes care of itself.
On maximal plus-side, ailments have subsided & betterment is being felt, knowing sleep is much needed before tomorrow’s double-shift (~12 hours), as the holiday crowds fill seats & stores, getting good food & quality stuff.
Today being the last day of autumn, we can prepare our celebrations for tomorrow’s solstice, as ol’ Sun maintains its altitude declination angle for about 3 days straight, then heads back northward as our days start getting longer, while folks in the hemispherical south call in summer for its open season. 🎉
