Locals wake up to overcast skies w/ light rain, persisting off & on throughout the day, w/ touches of snow on the mountains as temps stay above freezing in the valley. 🙌 Work was successfully accomplished, w/ headphoned podcast listening occupying the mind throughout, hearing interviews w/ Warren Buffet & Charlie Munger, discussing topics surrounding finance & investing, w/ principles so wholesome they’re worthwhile for anyone — just practical. 👏 Forays into the markets produce interest in the subject, prompting reading literature on annual reports, trusts, shareholder meetings, Adam Smith’s “The Wealth of Nations” (queued), & an actual desire to breeze through the IRS tax code. 👀
Motherly dinner invites were accepted, picking up & heading to Denny’s for sought pancakes. ☕️ Tech support was handled, w/ ease & grace, & home was returned to, w/ continuations of monetary research closing out the night.
