A new year 👏. A rebirth, in a sense, as the sun approaches Aries for the turn of Spring 🙌. A life glorious.
Saw the “bloodiness” & reddiness of it soon after, & still watching 👀. Brought out the ol’ 80mm for the shot up there, my longest lens. DST makes tracking solar noon more difficult, & likewise w/ this moment, ha.

Well it’s certainly getting “redder” — almost completely covered.
It’s 3 minutes ’til midnight here, &… there’s only a sliver atop — the rest a deep, dark red… Quite interesting there’s a sliver atop, though, & how it’s moving upward! How does that figure in the heliocentric model? Ehhhh… We’re roaming through space of course. 😉
It is baffling & wonderful & I love it.
