Locals awoke to sunshine & blue skies, w/ son picking up mother & heading to a rotational restaurant, chatting & catching up; followed by a jaunt to Orondo for her birthday flower-shopping, a total success; then 🪴 unloaded & readied for planting, lawnchairs were sat upon while the cat chilled in the garden, moving from ☀️ rays to shade to stretch out on the dirt, eyes closed 🐈⬛. Adieu was said 👋, & home was returned to, changing into work attire 👨🍳 & heading there, getting after it for 6+ hours; then back to the apartment for shoes-off leisure, calling it a weekend, ready for mañana.
Greenhouses were packed w/ vibrant petals, bumblebees & hummingbirds cruising around, smelled great. Calm winds were an extra treat w/ perfect spring weather.
Impressive skyscenes were glimpsed after clocking out & walking to the truck 🛻, w/ fresh, cool air typifying the evening.
