Locals wake to a fine morning of blue skies & some sparse clouds, w/ more rolling in as the day was long, w/ continued wind gusting the valley. ☀️ Summer strides through its second week, w/ the 250th Declaration celebration in short order, w/ World Cup taking place & an air of fervor. Jiu jitsu was attended, learning backstories for then introduced maneuvers, twisting joints & arms in controlled submission, figuring out the gentle art, complete w/ bruises to show. 👏 The evening brings leisure & movie finishing(?) while the smell of Icy Hot wafts from tender torso, a double-popping reinjury reminder that is thankfully minimal. 💪 The moon is waning from full, culminating just after midnight.
Dogs & cats could be seen snoozing outdoors comfortably apart, one in grass & the other on cement, both at ease.
A shift of work was put in, keeping busy. 👍
