The day offered sunshine, overcast, & some smoke from nearby fires, as the breeze waned down for a period that brought rain & thunderstorms to mind, then passing & granting an impressive sunset. Jobs were attended & enjoyed, entertaining w/ humor & camaraderie, in both English & Spanish, becoming better at interchanging. The morning to night stretch gets a reprieve mañana w/ one employer closed for the holiday, 🙌 then Saturday off completely. 🎆
One has to be grateful for keeping head above water when so many around the valley are choosing various addictions & homelessness, which brings its many negatives (theft, arson, etc. etc.), despite the appeal of laziness. Credit card debt is almost eliminated.
