The usual first-light alarm went off, this day at 5:32am, signaling Fajr, the first of five (Islamic) prayers. After, a couple more hours of sleep was enjoyed, rising from bed w/ golden light pouring in. Coffee was sipped while typing away on a particularly comprehensive portion of the Self Authoring Program, delving into the past, which is a handy way of putting together thoughts & connecting dots, as well as articulating experiences. Son drove across town to pick up mother for weekly restauranting, chatting over delicacies & caffeinated beverages, taking a sidetrip during the ride back to check out prospective apartments being considered, an upgrade over existing while costing much more, so attempting to determine worth & value. Once back at the house, lawn furniture was sat on while the cat roamed the yard, us watching squirrels travel the power-line “highways” w/ walnuts dangling from mouths, demonstrating their impressive balance.
