October drew its conclusion w/ the much ado’d Halloween, w/ celebrants citywide. 🎃 Local man had the day off, & so spent it mostly at home, leisuring about, with combat sports on the TV & studies occupying the time. Audiobooks were completed & others were started, w/ prompted purchases going international for hard-to-find paperbacks (in Arabic, even). A walk downtown generated a s’mores milkshake & chocolate chip cookie, to the delight of avid eater, who later napped, alongside kitten, who took to exploring digs. 🏠 Photos of costumes adorned social media, w/ festivities in full swing. 🍬
Tomorrow brings a 12+ hour double-shift 👨🍳, hopefully allowing a jaunt home for cat-attention. November looms.
