Downtown residents were pleasantly awoken today by an emcee mic’d up for a city-attracting event on the avenue. Smiling families walked up & down the sidestreets, as vendors & happenings took place. The sun provided the assist w/ plentiful golden light.
Elsewhere in town, driving through neighborhoods, one could see swathes of green & color as trees & plants go spring-wild. Here we are the day before Easter, as merriment can be found en masse.
Hairs were cut expertly, including a youngster getting her first mohawk(!), followed by lawn-mowing & mild sun-burning, w/ employed work coming to round out the evening.
