Local flat-earther gets his first super-zoom-lensed camera, the toutable Nikon P1100, iteration of the soughted P1000 & P900, famous curve-busters.
I’m extremely stoked to get out to the coast & see it w/ my own eyes, having been immersed in the FE community for a couple years & seeing plenty of footage.
The advantage here is a fixed, fairly compact DSLR [camera] w/ a telescoping lens up to 3000mm optical & 6000mm(!!!) digital, which is IMPRESSIVE for/in the market, & a great value, sturdy, excellent, & has bells & whistles.
Will need to familiarize & accessorize for things like planetary zoomage, starry timelapses, wildlife, sports, & you name it, to really get it dialed in.
