Stepping out into the morning, one could be reminded of camping at Lake Wenatchee during the Zeneka-side fire & subsequent evacuation that took place in the 90s, a cool fall air saturated w/ smoke. Nostalgia mixed w/ concern, silver linings. 🙏
A worker could be seen doing some beautifications on the Cascading building, reminding us of its subdued art-deco awesomeness.
In other news, cats could be seen lounging, others chilling indoors w/ a few whiffs of particulated air enough to retreat back in. Comfort a priority.
Lightbulbs were adjusted via smartphone app configurations, a worthy assist to earn or be treated to a spaghetti dinner by family. 🙏
