Local employees stayed productive, whiling away the hours of operation until one was given early release for luminous trail-hitting, a most grateful opportunity. Overcast skies capped the city most of the day, w/ temps sitting right around freezing, w/ snow frosting the mountains while the valley remains mostly dry, gloomy perfection. We take what we get, obviously, might as well accept it & find the beauty.
