An applaudably endeavorous Friday launches us into a stretch of NFL playoffs, boxing, UFC, NBA, NHL, & possibly to cap them all, Honnold’s scheduled climb of Taipei 101 (free solo), w/ local hikes, gaming, housetidying, & a favorably early Sunday work shift on the menu, a real delight, w/ Saturday approved off, so profound leisure will be experienced. 🙏 Today boasted sunshine & passing clouds, as families got together to try a new brewery in town, w/ pizza & tasty beer a hit, & new digs to take in. 👏
January brings us to Aquarius, as we round the final corner toward February, 2026 steady as she goes.
Neighborly cats were remarkably absent from usual places, presumably contentedly napping elsewhere. Birds have begun flocking atop power lines, indicating, er, something, as that’s a change from seasonal vacancy out that particular window. A welcome surprise of course.
