Golden rays poured in, announcing morning, on a graciously approved day off w/ serious entertainment on television, starting w/ UFC’s roaring return after a 6 week break, & midway through the ascent of Taipei’s altitious tower, completed masterfully by Alex Honnold, who championed yet another greatest achievements of mankind, cracking jokes & chatting w/ comms via earphones while remarking about wind, standing on ledges cleaning shoes, & near the tippy top hanging by arms w/ legs dangling, carefully navigating well rehearsed obstacles, finishing w/ selfies & further conversation while balancing on the spire’s spherical point, MVP of the day 100%. Championship fights draw near, as martial artists contest for the prizes & glory.
While driving to check out local trailheads, dogs & parents could be seen merrily strolling on sidewalks while closed signs let winter-trails have an offseason. So it goes.
