A nice tell that celestial objects are moving directly overhead can be ascertained using timelapse footage of ol’ Sol as it vanishes away into the atmosphere, after first getting visibly ‘smaller’ from our vantage. Rather than dipping around a curve, it carries its light away from us, until perspective gives way to darkness.
