Alternating overcast & sunshine typified the day, w/ temps again warm & breezes subsiding from yesterday’s gusts. Work was endeavored, getting lots done, doing best to keep up w/ seasonal influx, utilizing teamwork. Packages were picked up from the Post Office, one being left on porch as a gift, the other taken home for personal use, books & shorts. 🙌 The evening brought martial arts, w/ aspiring whitebelt attending his second class, studying Brazilian jiu jitsu, w/ sessional focus on basic submission techniques manipulating elbows w/ fulcrums & systematic move sequences, to satisfying success. Sparring took place, allowing freeform competition within the discipline, w/ plenty of humbling losses to set the path forward for improvement. 🙏
Biceps & wrists now show bruises, a keepsake, along w/ some previous-injury inflammation on the torso; so will spend the next week recouping & taking it easy, healing up for another round.
