The valley was handed yet another splendid summer Saturday, w/ clear blue skies & good heat, w/ air cleaner & less smokey. Morning leisure w/ coffee was indulged, before packing up piled junk & taking it to mother’s house, for help w/ her impressive stack of dump-worthy trash, which was then driven & dropped 🙌 (About $100 FYI standard rate). Sights were then set for the scenic route to Waterville, where lunch destinations were found, trying first the beer garden, watching menus blow off the table w/ gusts, & heading indoors for air conditioned excellence. Downtown was then walked, stopping into an antique store for perusing & chatting, before taking the highway road back down the mountain & to Wenatchee, where adios was said & ways were parted, bringing combat sports enthusiast to waiting couch for appropriate tuning, w/ Dricus Du Plessis fighting Kamaru Usman & Ben Askren returning after a double-lung transplant LAST YEAR & freestyle wrestling Belal Muhammad, heck yea!
Cats could be found lying in cool gardens, running through yards, & climbing trees; a break from regularly scheduled napping, an enviable hobby set.
