Locals woke to a morning of blue, mostly clear skies, w/ visible billowing particulate looming over the northern mountains. Coffee was enjoyed before heading to pick up mom for weekly restaurant rotations, including a riverside walk for scenic exercise. Gas cans were filled, & houses were returned to, for supervised cat on lawn time & the decision to mow next week; so just conversating in the shade before goodbye was said, heading home for work-preparation. Shifts were manned, keeping up w/ a busy restaurant as things went smoothly; happy for the experience. A glance at the evening weather showed a yellow-tinted sunset as thick overcast masked a red orb. Once finished, apartments were reoccupied for shoes-off, couch-sitting leisure, w/ muted sports & headphoned podcasts while sites get updated; the usual pretty much.
Particular joy has been found in going all the way back to the beginning of the JRE catalog, checking out the first couple; then queuing any within the years before I caught on that pique my interest, so far so good! Right now Anthony Bourdain in 2011. 👍
