A hazy morning greeted the valley, w/ local man waking up before sunrise to get a prayer in, then back to sleep for a couple hours, easing into the day, w/ coffee & quiet time before getting the text 📱 to head out & pick up family, venturing to rotational restauranting, nearly repeating last week’s before recalling circumstances & confirming the destination. Pastries & caffeinated beverages were eaten while conversating, catching up w/ news. Houses were returned to for cat on grass supervision 🐈⬛ followed by yard-trimming & weed-whacking, an improvement since it’d been weeks. 😬 Goodbye was said, & apartments were refound, whiling briefly before changing clothes & heading to a cooking shift 👨🍳 , being useful & jumping on the line when needed. Once phased & off the clock, the destination was home, w/ websites to update & down to wind. 😴

Ring-necked doves, crows, & pigeons were common sights, w/ a flock of the latter regularly stationed on balcony, often at the window watching human inside 🛋, comically startling when eye-contact is made.
