Local man woke to his 4:20am alarm, getting out of bed to rinse mouth; wash face, hands, arms, & feet; & to roll out the mat for some first-light prayer (Islam inspired of course). Once completed, sleep was regained, easing into the workday w/ coffee & reading. Lawns were mowed & projects were produced, an excellent & useful shift. After, home was strolled to for laundry & whiling away the time, having ceased a handful of vices & essentially “raw doggin'” life again. 👍
Structured devotional moments, corresponding to solar position, offers new incentive to stay up less late. Money & health are saved, as the benefits of sobriety begin unfolding.
Cats could be seen sitting on grass & under vehicles, seemingly content w/ smoky air, as zzz’s are collected.
