The day started w/ Fajr prayer around 6 & UFC at 7:00, catching the first few fights before jaunting to work for a busy shift on the line, keeping up w/ orders, when being texted that a cat was caught & waiting for me at my mom’s house, having been born about a month ago under her deck, nursing still, & had been sitting on her step crying (& crying), so appropriately timed. Once off, apartments were returned to, changing clothes, then stopping by Firehouse Pet Shop for proper supplies (w/ advice); then to gather the new buddy, who I’ve come to name Gus after spotting his parts. After the initial trauma subsided, we quickly became friends, as he now stays on my lap, often staring into my face, getting playful & acclimated. Happy times.
An affordable Paramount+ subscription was paid for, now catching up on the card at my own leisure.
